In the spring of 2007 I was rushed to hospital with heart palpitations and diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White, a condition associated with a risk of sudden death. Thanks to Keyhole heart surgery to remove an electrical short circuit in my heart, I now no longer have the condition.
