31 equal temperament (31-ET) is a systen of tuning where the octave is divided into 31 equal-sized steps. 31et.com is a great resource for finding out more.
I have designed and made my own two octave 31-ET keyboard.
Using the Web MIDI API I have created a website showing real-time detection of chords for regular 12-ET keyboards and my own 31-ET keyboard. The site is here. The site requires a browser with Web MIDI support, such as a recent version of Chrome. I have noticed that Chrome needs a second reload to get the MIDI working. Please beware this site is still in development.
